5 reasons it’s smart to hire your very own Wedding Assistant:
I CAN HELP SAVE YOU TIME AND MONEY
I know which vendors work extra hard for their clients, and which ones fall within your style and budget. No more making costly vendor mistakes! With my vendor consultation services, you save so much time you’d otherwise spend on filtering through hundreds of photographers, venues, bakeries, DJs, etc.
SOMETIMES THINGS GO WRONG
No matter how well you plan, sometimes the poo hits the fan. I’ve handled emergencies, no-shows, and other issues little and big. Because I’ve been through a wide variety of situations, I can usually foresee and plan for smaller things that have the potential to go awry. Sometimes, though, unexpected things happen, but I work swiftly to fix them. I also keep an “emergency kit” with everything imaginable just in case (including back-up rings!).
YOUR WEDDING DAY HAS MANY MOVING PIECES
And often, things need to happen at the same time the couple is getting ready or having pictures taken. It’s super helpful to have someone not involved in your wedding day festivities to run things behind the scenes and act as the single point of contact for all your vendors. The last thing you want to be doing on your wedding day is getting your hair done with your cellphone glued to your ear because your photographer is lost.
THE MONTH BEFORE YOUR WEDDING IS HELLA BUSY (DO PEOPLE STILL SAY THAT?)
Even if you’ve just hired me as your “day-of” coordinator, I’ll be in touch with you beginning at about 4 weeks before your wedding date. This is when a lot of little decisions need to be made, including timelines for you, your wedding party, your guests, and your vendors, and since most people have never had a wedding before, you may not know how to respond to questions or in what order events should flow. I’ll be there to guide you through the final phase of planning and help you iron out the million remaining details so you don’t get overwhelmed.
IT’LL BE THE BEST MONEY YOU SPEND ON YOUR WEDDING DAY
Sometimes it’s hard to quantify my value to couples because you don’t receive a "product" from me. Photographers give you photos, DJs give you music, bartenders give you fun in a glass. What I provide isn’t something you necessarily see: I run around for you so your mom doesn’t have to. I know your vision and ensure your vendors meet those expectations. I manage the day’s timeline. I handle unexpected situations so you don’t have to worry or miss a beat. Someone needs to sweat the small stuff (and probably actually get sweaty) and it shouldn’t have to be you.
